Organic seeds for organic gardening

We collect and keep our own seeds for planting next year. Not only does this reduce the cost of growing a garden but it allows for an even greater connection with the food we eat, having a direct connection with the ongoing cycle of growth, reproduction and renewal.

Also, by careful selection it is possible to guide and evolution of the plant species to develop new strains or varieties that are better suited to the local climate, soil conditions and other site specific variables.

Collecting and storing seeds for planting in the seasons ahead is an essential component of gardening.
I have a reasonable assortment of purchased, traded and gathered seeds that was in dire need of a tidy up.
