A data recording and analysis application for Ubuntu (Linux)
The purpose of this tool is for the management of datasets and the subsequent querying and reporting on those datasets.
Features
- Compare multiple datasets / indicators side-by-side
- Specify date ranges
- Scale and zoom time-line
- Offset 1 (or more) indicator from another. This is intended for viewing the difference between datasets
- Different plot types (line, bar, point) at an indicator or chart level
- Import data from CSV file or add manual entries (such as daily rainfall) manually
- Special reports such as data distribution
Requirements
- The program is developed using GAMBAS and therefore needs the runtime system installed
- I have only tested the application on Ubuntu but it should run on other variants of Linux that GAMBAS supports
- Postgres database is used for the storage of indicator data. This would be easy to swap out as data bindings are controlled from a single method
