House Swap

Chooks in the woodshedThe regular chooks have evacuated  their chook house where they no longer feel safe. They are sleeping in the trees...and some even decided to get cozy in our woodshed. But we put an end to that by moving them to the trees once they were asleep.

The 'Bantams' who were in exile for naughty behaviour (like getting into the garden) have moved out of their exile chookhouse at the far end of the paddock. We had been letting them out because they were generally staying out of the garden. They would be out most of the day and then they would put themselves to bed at night. But then one evening, they decided they were not going to put themselves back into exile. Instead, they happily moved into the recently abandoned regular chookhouse. So it's been a bit of a house swap.
