A summary of enhancements

  • Added heat transfer kit to duct heat from the wood burner in the lounge
  • Rebuilt the manhole trapdoor and surround with nice timber and added a border or leaves
  • Stripped walls and had them plastered (thanks Lee) and painted (thanks Melisa)
  • Added additional power point and replaced existing electrical fittings with uniform style
  • New desk from macrocarpa slab
  • Cut window into east wall into lounge / kitchen area and fitted with opaque glass
  • Ran internet aerial down inside wall
  • Painted roof trim / skirting, window frame and curtain rail
  • Dyed curtains green and improved length
  • Reworked shelf to be more aesthetic and extended capacity
  • Stripped paint from inside of the door
  • Collected some plants from down in the gully

Home office refit

After almost two years of working out of the previous owners spare bedroom I have finally invested the effort in a thorough refit of my home office.
Considering how many hours of the week are spent in here it makes sense to have a comfortable space that inspires creativity.
