Garlic Chives, also known as Chinese Chives, are a versatile and easy-to-grow perennial herb with a mild garlic flavour. Perfect for adding a subtle zing to salads, stir-fries, and garnishes, these plants produce flat leaves and white star-shaped flowers that attract pollinators. Ideal for home gardens, garlic chives thrive in full sun to partial shade and well-drained soil.

Sowing Time: Spring or early autumn directly in the garden or in trays for transplanting.

Germination: 7-14 days at 15-20°C
Keep soil moist but not waterlogged. Harvest leaves as needed once plants are established. Water regularly during dry spells and cut back after flowering to encourage fresh growth. Divide clumps every 2-3 years to maintain vigour.
